Abstract

Mecinus heydenii Wencker Mecinus heydenii Wencker, 1866 Records. DON KHE POL ŽIT [Arzanov 2000: 874; Arzanov 2000b: 1089; Caldara 2004a; Caldara & Fogato 2013: 76; Nazarenko 2013a: 109]. Distribution. Europe, West Siberia, Mongolia, North Africa (Caldara 2013a; Caldara & Fogato 2013). Material examined. Poltava Prov.: 1 spec. (ZIN) Poltava env., Th. Lukjanovitsh leg., 3.v.1925. Biology. Forest edge, dry meadows, slopes, agricultural habitats. Adults occur in IV–VIII (Arzanov 2000). On Plantaginaceae: Linaria vulgaris (Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1976; Lohse & Tischler 1983); L. genistifolia (Arzanov 2000); L. ruthenica (Isayev 2007).
