Distribution. Europe, Asia Minor, Siberia, Mongolia, Russian Far East, North Africa (Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a). Material examined. Luhansk Prov.: 1 spec. (ZIN) Olkhovaya, Luhansk env., Talicky leg., 7.ix.1928; Poltava Prov.: 1 spec. (ZIN) Poltava env., Th. Lukjanovich leg., 15.viii.1927; Sumy Prov.: 1 spec. (ZIN) Shostka, Kurnakov leg., 17.viii.1940; Zakarpatska Prov.: 1 spec. (ZIN) 14 km N Svaliava, Kryzhanowski leg., 30.vii.1974. Biology. Mixed and deciduous forests. Adults occur in V–IX (Dieckmann 1977). On Betulaceae: Betula pubescens (Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965); B. pendula (Solodovnikova 1963a; Dieckmann 1977; Mazur 2002).
