The method of section etching by HF solution is proposed to carry out the analysis of surface layers of bottles made of dark green glass. We managed to develop method for the dissolution of surface layers of bottles made of dark green glass with the duration of one etching within 2.5 to 60.0 minutes. The article analyses the graphs representing the dissolution rate of dark green glass depending on different duration of one etching. The experiments showed that the rate of dissolution of all the samples in HF solution is not stable. The article discusses the possibility to reveal the stratified structure in the bottles made of dark green glass with help of section etching by HF solution method.
