On the basis of the definition linked between ethnicity, state and city in the pre-Roman Iberia and according to what is described in classical sources, the borders of the territory belonging to the Beronian ethnic group are fixed. In this area of study, a territorial model based on synecism, that aims to explain the formation process of the city-state during the 1st millennium BC, has been applied. This explanatory proposal applies unevenly with the studied reality, but opens new and interesting ways of research.
