Abstract

Para que los establecimientos educacionales puedan asegurar una calidad educativa integral, es necesario plantearse, cuales son los resultados de aprendizaje que los niños y niñas deberían alcanzar en las clases de Educación Física. Como objetivo principal de las clases en Educación Preescolar y Primaria se encuentra el desarrollo de las competencias motrices básicas, que posibiliten a los niños y niñas una activa participación en la cultura de la actividad física y el deporte. Para un sistemático desarrollo de las competencias motrices básicas es requisito indispensable establecer un diagnóstico específico de ellas. Al contar con una descripción inicial del desempeño motriz, se obtiene valiosa información que permitirá a profesores y profesoras adaptar su accionar metodológico y didáctico a las necesidades de los niños y niñas. Para la valoración e interpretación de las competencias motrices básicas es necesario disponer de un instrumento de evaluación válido y al mismo tiempo práctico y aplicable en las clases de educación Física. La Batería MOBAK 5-6 (en alemán, Motorische Basiskompetenzen) ha sido elaborada para evaluar a niños y niñas de 10 a 12 años, para así abordar la evaluación del estado y desarrollo de las competencias motrices básicas de la parte final de la niñez intermedia. Evalúa las competencias motrices básicas de «Control del Cuerpo» con cuatro tareas (equilibrarse, rodar, saltar, correr) y «Control de Objetos» con 4 tareas (lanzar, atrapar, conducir un balón con la mano, conducir un balón con el pie). La dificultad y complejidad de las tareas del Test MOBAK han sido establecida de acuerdo a la edad de los niños y niñas.
