De l'espace pour l'école de la réussite

Abstract

Ce projet de recherche visait à répondre à la question suivante : la localisation crée-t-elle des prédispositions à l’échec ou à la réussite scolaire ? On verra plus loin que la localisation peut concerner la résidence de l’élève, l’établissement, la relation entre ces deux lieux, l’ensemble de la spatialité de l’élève, un espace local incluant élèves, établissements et vie sociale quotidienne, des espaces élargis accessibles par une mobilité moins fréquente. C’est en abordant ces différents éléments qu’on peut espérer répondre à cette question avec la complexité voulue, et notamment en prenant en considération les espaces à faible densité et les situations d’isolement qui constituent le point de départ du questionnement. Jusqu’à quel point ces configurations peuvent constituer un handicap pour la réussite scolaire des élèves ? Telle est l’interrogation à laquelle il nous a été demandé de répondre aussi précisément que possible.

L'équipe EPER (De l'espace pour l'école de la réussite) a été réunie au sein du rhizome de recherche Chôros. Elle comprend Dr. Shin Koseki, Prof. Jacques Lévy et Dr. Irene Sartoretti. Ont également apporté leur concours à ce projet Isabelle Hennion, Dr. Sylvie Joublot-Ferré, Prof. Olivier Lazzarotti, Philippe Petit, Aurélie Vandeginste et l'équipe d'enseignants réunie autour des DASEN Jérôme Damblant et Emmanuel Liandier. Cette recherche a bénéficié du soutien multiforme de la Rectrice Hélène Insel, et de ses collaborateurs au Rectorat de Reims, en particulier de Benoît Roger, d'Elza van de Vijver, de David Bates et d'Isabelle Bleuze. Elle n'aurait pas été possible sans le concours bienveillant de la Directrice de la DEPP Fabienne Rosenwald et de ses collaborateurs.
