Uso y satisfacción del estudiante de obstetricia con la biblioteca institucional

Abstract

Para un mejor aprendizaje los estudiantes demandan de información adecuada; es conocida la evolución de la biblioteca desde un repositorio de documentos impresos hacia electrónicos y la mejor manera de evaluar su calidad se basa en la satisfacción de los usuarios. El objetivo fue determinar el uso y la satisfacción de los estudiantes con los servicios de la biblioteca. Se realizó un estudio transversal, mediante análisis multivariado de una encuesta validada a los estudiantes de la Carrera. El 94,8% de estudiantes acuden a la biblioteca, para uso de internet, del material de la biblioteca, y para trabajar con su propio material. La mayoría mostró satisfacción con los servicios prestados y consideran muy importante aumentar el número de computadores, y el fondo bibliográfico. Para mejorar la calidad de la biblioteca hay que atender la demanda de tecnología y oferta de acceso a material bibliográfico en línea.
