Abstract

Η επιλογή των υλικών ενός κτιρίου εξαρτάται άμεσα από μια σειρά οικονομικών, περιβαλλοντικών, ενεργειακών και άλλων παραμέτρων. Ο κύκλος των εργασιών που συνδέεται με την παραγωγή, τη διακίνηση αλλά και τη χρήση των δομικών υλικών, είναι πολυσύνθετος και κατ' επέκταση τα κριτήρια για την οικολογική συμπεριφορά των υλικών δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα εύκολο να εκφραστούν ποσοτικά.
