Abstract

In this article, we make a description of the principal results of exploration works made in the archaeological place of Erqueyez (Western Sahara) in 2002. This archaeologic set without precedents in this area, provides an interesting lithic manufacture factories from Inferior Palaeolithic to Epipalaeolithic, mound graves and more than a hundred of caves with rocky paintings that is the point of this work. The results of this research work are important not only by the essential information that provides to us, but also by the special conditions of the study area, because of its difficult accessibility to researcher.
