NARCIS is the national portal for scientific information in the Netherlands hosted by DANS. NARCIS provides access to scientific information, including (open access) publications, datasets, as well as descriptions of research projects, scientists, and research institutes. Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) that unambiguously identify a given digital object, person or institute play an important role in our infrastructure. Within the FREYA project, DANS has worked to include new PIDs (e.g. ROR) in NARCIS and constructed a NARCIS PID Graph. The PID Graph can be used to enrich NARCIS with information located in other portals through connecting the relevant PIDs.
