Abstract

The Local Analysis and Prediction System (LAPS) developed by the Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) is designed to assimilate Doppler radar data, satellite data, and other mesoscale observational data, thus it can provide high temporal and spatial resolution data with more detailed information concerning the local mesoscale environment field
