Data Preservation Project

Abstract

Within this project I: selected a data repository related to my research interests, listed attributes of the data repository along with the data that can be deposited, identified certification standards for the repository, and went through my processes and workflows for this project. The data repository chosen from re3data that was most relevant to my research area was the Comparative Political Data Set from the University of Berne. This data set is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and consists of annual data for 36 demographic Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and/or EU-member countries from 1960-2014.
