Целью работы было проведение экспериментальных и теоретических исследований процесса культивирования аскомицета вида Penicillium chrysogenum. Было установлено, что для получения биомассы аскомицета Penicilium chrysogenum(45 г/л на 6 сутки культивирования) можно рекомендовать питательную среду, содержащую в 16,4 г углерода (сахароза) и 4 г/л азота (нитрата натрия).
