Abstract

Im Sinne einer konkreten Utopie, welche das Bild nicht auspinselt, sondern wirkliche Praxen als Keimformen untersucht, hat die Anbindung an einen Ort eine materiell-produktive und eine strategisch-symbolische Funktion. Eine Ethik des Orts, wie dies am Beispiel des Londoner Projektraums Furtherfield beschrieben werden kann, bedeutet, lokale AktivistInnen und HackerInnen miteinander zu vernetzen und dergestalt ökosoziale Kooperation mit Progressivität, Verortung mit Dezentralität zu verweben. Das von KünstlerInnen 1996 ins Leben gerufene Projekt ist ein selbsternanntes "(De-)Zentrum für Kunst und Technologie" im Londoner Finsbury Park. Kollaborative Praktiken und "DIWO" (doing it with others) sind hier ebenso konstituierend wie die Entwicklung einer digitalen und örtlichen Kultur der Commons. Furtherfield lässt sich demnach als "commonistische" Keimform begreifen – Commonismus weniger als Ideologie verstanden denn als permanent weiterzuentwickelnde Inklusionsgesellschaft. Dieser liegt laut Simon Sutterlütti und Stefan Meretz eine andere Kooperationsstruktur zugrunde wie auch materielle und soziale Vorbedingungen, die es Menschen erlauben, ihre Lebensbedingungen selbst herzustellen. Inklusion ist so nicht bloß eine ethisch-moralische Haltung, sondern die Handlungsbedingungen aller CommonistInnen werden kollektiv gestaltbar.
