Abstract

O objetivo desta pesquisa consistiu em avaliar do perfil das concentrações do ozônio nas regiões de Camaçari, Lamarão do Passé e Dias D´ Ávila, localizadas em torno do Polo Industrial de Camaçari (PIC), e ponderar sobre os possíveis efeitos à Saúde Humana e ao Meio Ambiente. Para isto, foram utilizados os dados de monitoramento cedidos pela Cetrel S/A referentes ao detectado nas estações de Câmara (Camaçari), Machadinho (Camaçari), Escola (Dias D’ Ávila) e Lamarão (Lamarão do Passé). As concentrações foram avaliadas conforme as máximas detectadas no período amostral de 1h, Resolução CONAMA nº 491/2018 (71,4 ppb – média móvel de 8h), Organização Mundial da Saúde - WHO (51ppb – média móvel de 8h) e através dos limites da AOT 40 (40 ppb/h). De acordo com os resultados, pôde-se observar que os maiores picos de O3 foram registrados na estação de Lamarão. Destaca-se que durante todo período, os níveis de O3 não ultrapassaram os limites estabelecidos pela Resolução CONAMA nº 491/2018. Contudo, quando comparado com os padrões da WHO, a concentração de 51,21 ppb registrada na estação de Lamarão violou o estabelecido. Dada a avaliação através da AOT 40, foi observado que os níveis de O3 esteve acima do permitido em todas as estações. Em tese, conclui-se que a população de Lamarão do Passé possui tendência em adquirir enfermidades proveniente das concentrações de O3. Quanto aos impactos ao Meio Ambiente, verifica-se que poluição atmosférica é passível de causar danos a vegetação de Camaçari, Dias D’ Ávila e Lamarão do Passé
