Tachysphex cf. mocsaryi Kohl, 1884 Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: United Arab Emirates (Straka & Schmid-Egger 2017). Extralimital distribution: West Africa, Mediterranean area to southern Central Asia (for T. mocsaryi). Remarks: Straka & Schmid-Egger (2017) stated that the specimen involved is either of T. mocsaryi (but with vestiture unlike that of European specimens), or else is of a closely related species; either way, it is included in the counts.
