Intermediation der Forschungsinfrastruktur. Ein Rollenmodell für den Umgang mit einer komplexen Infrastrukturlandschaft

Abstract

Der Beitrag beschreibt ein Rollenmodell für das Management einer komplexen Infrastrukturlandschaft aus Sicht geisteswissenschaftlicher Forschungseinrichtungen. Eine Mittelsperson makelt zwischen den Serviceangeboten der Infrastruktureinrichtungen und den Anforderungen der Forschenden. Diese Infrastrukturintermediation komprimiert oder übersetzt nicht nur Informationen, sondern übernimmt Verantwortung für die Konzeption und den Betrieb der Forschungsinfrastruktur sowie die Auswahl von Diensten und Tools, die Organisation des Betriebes und die Moderation der Nutzung. Die Verlagerung dieses Aufgabenbereiches auf ein/e Expert*in eröffnet a) größere Spielräume für die Forschenden, b) Zugänge zu Angeboten für die Forschungseinrichtungen und c) Nutzerkreise für die Infrastrukturanbieter und deren Organisation in Verbünden und Konsortien. Der Beitrag skizziert die Konzepte einer Infrastrukturmediation zweier außeruniversitärer Forschungseinrichtungen, die auch auf andere Strukturen und Wissenschaftseinrichtungen übertragbar sind.
