tarsalis group Description. Foreleg tarsomere 1 longer than disal tarsomere, 3 about as long as distal tarsomere; midleg and hindleg tarsomeres 1–4 weakly flattened ventrally; midtibia swollen; lateral gonapophysis of female with additional gonapophysis-like structure. Discussion. This appears to be a monotypic group since only N. tarsalis has the tarsomeres I–IV of midleg and hindleg weakly flattened ventrally and possesses an unidentified gonapophysis-like process near the ventral margin of the lateral gonapophysis extending below the vulva (Fig. 62). The swollen midtibia is also unique.
