La dignidad humana en Curipamba de Ángel Felicísimo Rojas.

Authors: Cristhian Sarango;

La dignidad humana en Curipamba de Ángel Felicísimo Rojas.

Abstract

- The present article tries to explain the most important topics related to the betrayal, perfidy and cynicism present in the characters of the novel Curipamba by the writer Ángel Felicísimo Rojas. The novel becomes an instrument of social denunciation; it allows to recreate the difficult reality in which the workers of the Curipamba mine were. In it we see how the industrial apparatus represented in Mr. Spencer seeks to appropriate the alien without mercy (gold resources) in cynical and culpable complicity of the representatives of the State (Cleofe Jimenez). This exploiter-exploited relationship is based on the pain and suffering of the poor miners of Curipamba. On the other hand, there appears a progressive opposition of the engineer Alejandro Sevilla, which seeks to claim labor and economically to their exploited congeners.
