El objetivo central de esta investigación es analizar los estereotipos que giran en torno a lo que significa “ser chico” y “ser chica”, la manera en que se ponen en juego las expectativas, los roles y los referentes colectivos, con una mirada especial a las relaciones interpersonales. El estudio se pregunta qué elementos definen los roles de género, si se han producido cambios en las visiones y en los estereotipos, si la visión es compartida y cómo todo ello se traduce en unas relaciones sociales que pueden resultar más o menos igualitarias. Para ello emplea una metodología mixta: una encuesta escolar de 2.154 adolescentes y jóvenes escolarizados de entre 14 y 19 años y dos dinámicas grupales online.
