Mobile Jugendbar: Projektbericht

Abstract

Der öffentliche Raum ist ein begehrter Aufenthaltsort der Jugendlichen aus Sursee. Das Zentrum für offene Jugendarbeit (ZofJ) hat mit ihrer Mobilen Jugendarbeit die Möglichkeit, die Jugendlichen an ihren Plätzen aufzusuchen. Jedoch dringt man immer in das „Hoheitsgebiet“ resp. in den Raum der Jugendlichen ein und die Mobile Jugendarbeit kann so auch als „Fremdkörper“ wahrgenommen werden. Auf der anderen Seite gibt es in Sursee eine Entwicklung, die den Zugang zum öffentlichen Raum erschwert. So beschloss der Stadtrat auf Drängen von Anwohnern eines Parks, diesen aus Gründen wie Lärmbelästigung und Littering um 22.00 Uhr zu schliessen. Um dies umzusetzen, wurden am Parkeingang Tore installiert, Infotafeln aufgestellt, die Beleuchtung ausgebaut und eine Sicherheitsfirma engagiert, um die Massnahmen durchzusetzen. Durch diese beiden Punkte und die Tatsache, dass für Jugendliche in Sursee neben dem ZofJ kein weiteres unverbindliches Freizeitangebot besteht, entstand die Idee der „Mobilen Jugendbar“.
