Abstract

Die Kommission für forschungsnahe Dienste existiert seit 2018 und ist die jüngste Kommission des VDB. Forschungsnahe Dienste werden von Bibliotheken in immer größerem Maße wahrgenommen, z.B. in folgenden Bereichen wie die des Open Access und Publikationsdienstleistungen, Forschungsdatenmanagement und Forschungsinformationssysteme, Bibliometrieservices. Kolleginnen und Kollegen, die in die Erstellung von forschungsnahen Dienstleistungen eingebunden sind, sollen durch entsprechende Fortbildungs- und Vernetzungsangebote der Kommission für forschungsnahe Dienste besser unterstützt werden. Die Arbeit der Kommission wurde während der Präsentation vorgestellt sowie Veranstaltungen beim Bibliothekskongress in Leipzig 2019, und es gab einen Bericht über den vorher stattgefundenen VDB-Workshop "Was ist Forschung?" in Darmstadt.
