The present study aims to make the quantitative assessment of health risks and to estimate the impact to evaluate the health impact related to the ingestion of arsenic, cadmium, lead, nickel and zinc contained in groundwater of the Bonikro gold prospect and the city of Hire. The contents of these metal trace elements were determined by ICP-AES. From the concentrations obtained, we calculated the Hazard Quotients, determine the different probabilities of occurrence of skin cancer and count the number of cases of skin cancer likely to appear within the population. From these results, it is noted that this population runs health risks with hazard quotients evaluated greater than 1. Also, high probability of occurrence of skin cancer that far exceed the reference value of 1.10-5 with cases of skin cancer that could reach 4.3% of village populations
