Die Datenlandschaft der deutschen Energiewirtschaft

Abstract

In dieser Untersuchung wird eine systematische Übersicht von Informationen über die deutsche Energiewirtschaft und deren Verfügbarkeit vorgelegt, um den Datenzugang zu erleichtern, Datenlücken zu identifizieren und die Diskussion um die Notwendigkeit hochqualitativer Daten in der Energiesystemanalyse weiter voranzubringen. Im Besonderen werden für die Energieträger Strom, Gas und Wärme 22 relevante Datenplattformen und 279 Datenquellen identifiziert und bezüglich ihrer Eigenschaften beschrieben. Auf Basis bestehender Datenlücken sowie einer durchgeführten Expertenumfrage können Aussagen über besondere Datenbedarfe innerhalb der Energiesystemanalyse abgeleitet werden. Die Untersuchung schließt mit einer Diskussion um Nutzungshindernisse und formuliert Handlungsempfehlungen in Richtung politischer Entscheidungsträger.

Neben der Analyse der bestehenden Datenplattformen und der Auswertung der Umfrage im Artikel, ist die Excel-basierte Zusammenstellung und detaillierte Beschreibung von 279 Datenquellen zentrales Ergebnis dieser Untersuchung.
