Abstract

KB Webinar - Transkribus voor Nederlandstalige gebruikers Transkribus is een programma dat het lezen van handschriften een stuk eenvoudiger maakt. Met behulp van dit programma kun je de computer trainen om handgeschreven teksten en drukwerk uit vroegere perioden te lezen. Het programma biedt tal van mogelijkheden, maar om er zelf mee aan de slag te gaan is toch nog wel een uitdaging. Annemieke Romein (UGent/Erasmus Universiteit/ KB) en Jeroen Vandommele (KB) hebben inmiddels veel ervaring opgedaan met het werken met Transkribus. Die gebruikerservaring vormt de basis voor dit webinar, waarin ze het programma uitleggen. Zij maken géén deel uit van het READ-COOP team. Opzet webinar - Basisprincipes achter HTR(+) versus OCR. - Installeren en uploaden (foto’s, PDF’s , enzovoort) - De basisfunctionaliteiten van Transkribus (Waar dienen de knopjes voor?) - Hoe creëer je handmatig een Lay-out Analyse? Hoe kan Transkribus dit voor je doen? - Hoe kan je met de desktopversie teksten transcriberen? - Wat te doen met afkortingen, italics en transcriptiekeuzes? - Hoe kan je bestanden exporteren? Voor wie? Dit webinar is voor iedereen, die meer wil weten over Transkribus. Er is geen specifieke voorkennis vereist. Na de uitleg is er gelegenheid om vragen te stellen.
