Northwestern University has worked over the last two years to move it's core infrastructure to AWS. At the same time we worked to develop a Hyrax-based DAM and decoupled front end. The end result is a scalable solution that allows the team to use modern front-end frameworks (react), s3 (static) hosting, serverless (lambda-based) tasks, and flexibility in backend decisions.
