They are modified versions of the systems from the EU PEGASE project provided at Matpower database. Starting default point of these systems have been modified from their correct solution using a Gaussian distribution and a specified standard deviation. These modified cases are very interesting for validating novel Power-Flow techniques since, despite the calculated initial point is more natural than the flat start, the Newton-Raphson techniques fail for solving them when the provided starting point is used. So that, thay migth be categorized as ill-conditioned systems.
