Ulama dan Media Sosial: Analisis Pesan Dakwah KH Mustofa Bisri di Twitter

Abstract

KH Mustofa Bisri atau Gus Mus merupakan salah satu ulama yang aktif berdakwah dengan menggunakan media sosial. Dengan akun twitter, Gus Mus dapat menyampaikan pesan dakwah secara efektif kepada masyarakat dimanapun dan kapanpun khususnya generasi muda. Melalui akun twitter @gusmus yang digunakan oleh KH Mustofa Bisri sejak tahun 2013 sampai saat ini jumlah followers beliau mencapai 1,8 juta orang. Salah satu tujuan Gus Mus menggunakan twitter agar memudahkan beliau dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah yang mengajak kedamaian mengingat masyarakat hari ini banyak yang menggunakan media sosial. Bagi Gus Mus, berdakwah menggunakan twitter merupakan cara yang cukup efektif untuk menyampaikan pesan dakwah kepada siapa saja dan dimana saja tanpa terhalang ruang dan waktu. Hal ini mendorong peneliti tertarik untuk menganalisis pesan dakwah Gus Mus melalui akun twitternya @gusmus dengan pendekatan semiotika. Beberapa pesan dakwah yang dianalisis peneliti dalam twitter @gusmus diantaranya akhlak, toleransi, persaudaraan, dan ketuhanan.
