Abstract

Blended Learning verbindet Lernen mit digitalen Medien in virtuellen Lernräumen mit Ler-nen in Präsenzveranstaltungen. Blended Learning steht auch für die Erkenntnis, dass digitale Bildungsmedien das Lernen begleitende Lehrende nie vollständig ersetzen können. Vielmehr will es je die Vorteile von Distanzlernen und Präsenzlernen nutzen und deren Nachteile vermeiden, indem es diese verbindet, wobei folgende Elemente kombiniert werden: Präsenzlernen und Distanzlernen, die alle E-Learning- und digitalen Kommunikationsformen integrieren klassische Phasenbildung für Lehr- und Lernprozesse unterschiedliche Sozialformen und Steuerungsinstanzen Verknüpfung von bestimmten Methoden mit zu erwerbenden Kompetenzen Blended Learning erlaubt es, individuelles Lernen, das lernendendefiniertes Tempo zulässt, mit Face-to-face-Kommunikation bzw. persönlicher und realistischer Interaktion zu verbinden. Des Weiteren ermöglicht Blended Learning den Lernenden vor allem auch eine Kompetenzentwicklung mit, für und durch das Netz (vgl. dazu Arnold et al. 2018) in einem Ausmass, wie es der traditionelle Präsenzunterricht in den Lehrgängen der Berufsmaturität nicht zu leisten vermag. Damit ist der Blended-Learning-Ansatz in gewissem Masse bereits eine Vorwegnahme der Strategie «Berufsbildung 2030» (SBFI 2018), die unter anderem die Ausrichtung der Berufsbildung auf das Lebenslange Lernen und die Nutzung der digitalen Technologie an allen Lernorten zum Ziel hat.
