This repo contains the processed dataset for the paper: Liang, C., and E. M. Dunham, Lava lake sloshing modes during the 2018 Kilauea Volcano eruption probe magma reservoir storativity, Earth and Planetary Science Letters, submitted 27 June 2019, revised 1 November, 2019. In total, 24 very long period (VLP) events are compiled and analyzed. Each .mat file contains the processed dataset for one VLP event with name indicating the event start time in UTC. For example 2018-5-3T3:32:40.mat contains the data for an event occured at 3:32:40 (UTC) on May 3rd, 2018. After loading the dataset into Matlab, it contains a structure named "d" that stores the fields. It contains the resonant mode frequencies, spectrum of the signal, and noises before and after the signals. The extracted surface displacement spectral values at resonant modes at each channel (station+component).
