Widely distributed in the western Pacific (Ryukyus, Taiwan [including Penghu and Dongsha], Philippines, New Guinea, Australia, New Caledonia, Indonesia, Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia), eastern Indian Ocean (Nicobar Islands), western and central Pacific Ocean.
