Within ASTRON, open source code is developed for both software and firmware. By developing code as open source, it can be used by others outside ASTRON. In return ASTRON wants to get a justified compensation for the use of ASTRON open source code by external parties. This is the role of the ASTRON open source committee. This document defines the terms of reference of the ASTRON open source committee.
