Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a technology that raises the temperature of tumor cells for the exercise of cellular thermal desire. However, the result of incomplete ablation in the peripheral regions may transcend tumor recurrence. This study, will be used for an application of RF pure, solutions, saline and nanoparticle metallic, being a first o group of control. The experimental arrangement consisted of 500 kHz sine wave excitation, 15 W of power after ARF-SOFIA treatment and experimental ex vivo pig liver model. No control group was applied RF only and in the experimental groups a RF solution was made with saline (0.9%) cooled to 5and nanoparticle Ag at room temperature. As a result of a salary solution process, the results were found in relation to an ARF (p = 0.971) in relation to the range of the thermal damage region. To verify this, use ANOVA and post hoc statistical tests. It was concluded that ARF therapy combined with a saline solution reduced hepatic tissue impedance to greater energy delivery and consequently greater operational reach to the peripherals. This work is important for the emission of innovations in the procedure protocols for the ARF-SOFIA prototype.
