Abstract

Nesse trabalho, utilizando simulação de Monte Carlo, foram calculados valores de coeficientes de conversão (CC) para médico, utilizando uma energia típica de procedimentos da cardiologia intervencionista para três diferentes materiais de avental de radioproteção: 100%Pb, 67%Pb+33%Si e 67%W+33%Si e três espessuras. Os valores de CC encontrados demonstram que o avental de 100%Pb foi o que apresentou a melhor blindagem à radiação entre os 3 materiais para a espessura de 0,5 mm. Independente das espessuras, o avental que proporcionou os maiores valores de CC foi o composto por 67%W+33%Si.
