Cocontração dos músculos do tronco no exercício de estabilização prancha ventral com bosu

Abstract

O conhecimento dos padrões de cocontração na prancha ventral com bosu normal (PV-BS) e invertido (PV-BI) auxiliará na compreensão de sua aplicabilidade para melhora de estabilização da coluna lombar dentro de programas de prevenção e reabilitação das disfunções da região lombar, assim como programas de treinamento esportivo que objetivam o desenvolvimento e fortalecimento da região do tronco. Objetivou-se analisar a cocontração global e local dos músculos flexores e extensores do tronco no exercício de estabilização PV-BS e PV-BI, durante 45 segundos de contração isométrica. A amostra foi composta por 15 voluntários do gênero masculino, fisicamente ativos, com idade média 21.73±1.31 anos, massa corporal 74.27±5.38 kg, estatura 177.10±3.90 cm e Percentual de Gordura Corporal (PGC) 10.97±1.60%. A coleta da atividade muscular foi realizada utilizando-se eletrodos de superfície diferenciais simples, com ganho de 20 vezes, e registrada por meio de um eletromiógrafo computadorizado (EMG System do Brasil 830C). Foi calculado o valor Integral da envoltória (∫env) de cada músculo, paraobter o percentual de cocontração entre os músculos globais e locais do tronco. Cada voluntário realizou dois exercícios (PV-BS e PV-BI) com 45 segundos de duração cada. Não houve diferenças entre os níveis de cocontração global e local entre PV-BS e PV-BI. O nível de cocontração local foi significativamente maior em relação ao nível de cocontração global para os dois exercícios. Conclui-se que PV-BS e PV-BI produziram níveis similares de cocontração global e local, no entanto, ambos os exercícios proporcionaram maior nível de cocontração local.
