Abstract

Mitarbeitende der Bereiche Geburtshilfe und Pflege werden immer mehr mit dem Thema Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) konfrontiert. Mit diesem Praxishandbuch zeigt die Autorin auf, wie und warum eine Enttabuisierung und Sensibilisierung zum Thema FGM nötig sind. Sie macht zudem ersichtlich, wie eine praktische, für den Pflegealltag gut handhabbare FGM-Prävention für betroffene Mädchen im Setting einer Gesundheitsorganisation durchgeführt werden kann. Ziel ist es, vorhandenes Wissen zu bündeln und Präventionsmassnahmen als Auftrag nachhaltig im Alltag einer Gesundheitsinstitution zu implementieren. Dieser Titel kann als gedrucktes Buch über den interact Verlag bezogen werden.
