This is a presentation about the principles and benefits of open science from the perspective of researchers. It also gives an overview of the MOOC "Science 2.0 and open research methods" that was developed and conducted at the TU Dresden Media Center to introduce young researchers to open science principles, infrastructures and skills. This talk was given in front of an audience of biomedical researchers at the 2019 CRTD Summer Conference on Regenerative Medicine at the Center for Regenerative Therapies in Dresden on 28 June 2019.
