Pada bidang usaha perhotelan kebanyakan hotel bintang satu dan hotel bintang dua hanya menyediakan perlengkapan kamar seperti kamar tidur, kamar mandi dan televisi bahkan tanpa adanya alat komunikasi di setiap kamar. Pada bagian pelayanannya memang kurang begitu memuaskan terutama pada pelayanan penyewaan kamar dan customer service hotel. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan cara cepat untuk pemanggilan pelayanan bagian customer service hotel. Memanfaatkan jaringan wireless access point untuk meningkatkan pelayanan hotel dengan merancang sebuah prototype sistem pemanggil customer service hotel menggunakan mikrokontroler dengan koneksi wireless. Dengan penerapan sistem pemanggil untuk customer service ini diharapan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan pada hotel.
