Trial run recording on August 1st 2019 in preparation for the Festival of Frequency Measurement, a component of the celebrations of WWV's 100th anniversary. Event: coordinated first attempt UTC Date: 20190801 Beacon frequency: 10.000 000 Station Name: KA2VLP/KB3UMD Latitude: 40.1875 N Long: 75.4581 W Grid: FN20ge City: Collegeville, PA SF=67, A=8, K=1 at start of measurement Difficulties had: Needed to calibrate sound card using fldigi RX ppm. Settled on a value of -20 ppm for minimum drift in Scope display Equipment: Kenwood TS-590SG; with SO-3 TXCO installed; 4 hours warm up SW: fldigi ver 3.23.21 In fldigi Freq Analysis mode, cursor was centered around 1004 on the waterfall. Therefore, Freq Error column in data file is relative to 10.000 004 MHz. Soapbox: Great time here participating in the experiment and discovering new things together! It was interesting to watch the signal change over the course of the day each time we went downstairs to check on it. Released publicly under Creative Commons: yes
