Abstract

As taxas de cesarianas no Brasil s?o alarmantes sendo o conhecimento dos fatores globais ponto chave para garantir um parto humanizado livre de riscos. Diante disso o objetivo do estudo foi descrever a preval?ncia de pu?rperas assistidas em uma maternidade municipal de Cacoal/RO, que tiveram a oportunidade de conhecer e/ou exercer o seu direito quanto ao tipo de parto. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo com abordagem quali-quantitativa e pesquisa de campo, realizado com 30 pu?rperas no per?odo de mar?o a abril de 2018, selecionadas pelo m?todo de amostragem n?o probabil?stico de conveni?ncia intencional. Verificou-se que 66,99% s?o da faixa et?ria de 21 a 35 anos, 80% eram pardas. Casadas e/ou uni?o est?vel 33,33 e 50% respectivamente. Ensino fundamental ou inferior totalizou 46,67%. Quanto ao n?mero de gesta??es anteriores nove eram prim?paras e 21 mult?paras. 10 j? haviam realizado parto ces?reo, 10 partos vaginais e um aborto. Entre as prim?paras houve predom?nio de partos ces?reos com 66,67%. Ainda 16 pu?rperas realizaram parto abdominal, sendo que 13 por escolha da mulher e 3 por op??o m?dica. Partos vaginais foram 13 por op??o da mulher e 1 crit?rio m?dico. Assim 86,66% dos procedimentos realizados foram por op??o das pu?rperas, 3 ces?rias tiveram indica??o pelo iminente risco observado, sendo o total de partos realizados por procedimento contr?rio ao de escolha das entrevistadas 1 (3,33%). Conclui-se assim que os procedimentos adotados para os partos realizados na maternidade de Cacoal/RO foram em sua maioria por op??o das gestantes, sem interfer?ncia m?dica ou indu??o de terceiros.
