Abstract

In Italia e in Portogallo, così come in molti paesi europei, ci sono ancora diversi esempi di sistemi agroforestali tradizionali. Questi sistemi erano diffusi in molte aree rurali fino all'introduzione dell'agricoltura intensiva. Un tipico sistema agroforestale tradizionale è rappresentato dalla "vite maritata" ossia la vite consociata ad alberi che fungono da supporto vivo.
