Inner and Outer Dialectics of Identity and a Semiotic Review of it in Eric Landowska’s Framework of Semantic Systems Abstract Richard Jenkins, in a theoretical framework which he calls “inner/Outer Dialectics”, argues that identity is the result of a mutual, dialectic action between the concept of “the self” or the (inner) self-image and the descriptions of us (the outer image) given to us by others . Therefore, identity crisis occurs when there is a clash between the concepts of “inner’ and “outer” to the extent that the possibility of any combination, agreement, domination, or a synthesis will be very difficult. Therefore, the formation of a stable identity depends on a successful synthesis of this dialectic process. On the other hand, in Landowska’s semiotic model, four approaches are proposed regarding the interaction between the subject and the object (the self and the others or the universe), and that the relationship of each is examined against the processes of the production of semantics. These semantic systems are as follows: “programmation”, manipulation, adjustment, and accident, each of which describes a different interaction of the subject, the self, and the object, the others. Based on the characteristics of each, it is possible to analyze the concept of identity in the theoretical framework of Jenkins in the processes of their semantic production. In this regard, it can be illustrated how the mutual action of the self-image of the subject (inner) and the other’s image (outer) in the three approaches of “programmation”, “manipulation” and “accident”, which results in the formation of an unstable and figurative identity and the produced semantic area, may be evaluated in the context of “identity crises”. But such a mutual action in the “adjustment” semantic system approach, due to the subject’s nature of interaction with another, will lead to a stable, yet dynamic identity. Keywords:Identity, Inner/Outer Dialectics, Semiology, Semiotic, Semantic Systems دیالکتیک درونی/برونی هویت و تحلیل نشانه‌شناختی آن در چارچوب نظام‌های معنایی اریک لاندوفسکی چکیده ریچارد جنکینز در قالب چارچوبی نظری که آن را «دیالکتیک درونی/برونی» می‌نامد معتقد است که هویت، حاصل یک کنش‌ متقابل دیالکتیکی است بین تعریف «خود» یا همان خودانگاره(درونی) با تعاریفی که «دیگری» از ما ارائه می‌کند(برونی). بنابراین، بحران هویت زمانی رخ می‌دهد که تعارض میان تعریف درونی با برونی به حدی است که امکان هرگونه ترکیب، توافق، غلبه و یا سنتزی بسیار سخت شود و در عین حال شکل‌گیری هویتی پایدار وابسته به سنتز موفقیت­آمیز این فرآیند دیالکتیک است. از سویی دیگر، در مدل نشانه‌شناختی لاندوفسکی چهار رویکرد در برهم‌کنش بین سوژه با ابژه (من با دیگری یا جهان) طرح شده و نسبت هر کدام با فرآیندهای تولید معنا تحلیل شده است؛ این نظام‌های معنایی عبارتند از «برنامه‌‌مداریت»، «مجاب‌سازی»، «تطبیق» و «تصادف» که هر یک توصیف‌کننده نوع متفاوتی از برهم‌کنش سوژه(من) و ابژه(دیگری) بوده و بر اساس ویژگی‌های هر یک می‌توان مفهوم هویت در چارچوب نظری جنکینز را نیز در فرآیندهای معنا­آفرینی آن‌ها تحلیل نمود. بر این اساس می‌توان نشان داد که چگونه کنش‌متقابلِ خودانگارۀ «سوژه»(درونی) با انگارۀ «دیگری»(بیرونی) از او در سه رویکردِ برنامه‌مدار، مجاب‌ساز و تصادف، منجر به شکل‌گیری هویتی متزلزل و مجازی شده و فضای معنایی بوجود آمده را می‌توان در قالب «بحران هویت» تفسیر کرد ولی چنین کنش‌متقابلی با رویکرد نظام معنایی «تطبیق» به­واسطه ماهیت برهم‌کنش سوژه با دیگری منجر به شکل‌گیری هویتی پویا خواهد شد. کلیدواژه­ها: هویت، دیالکتیکرونی/برونی، سمیولوژی، سمیوتیک، نظام‌های معنایی.
