EPR4Q - End Point Rate for QGIS

Abstract

This model can calculate the shift of two shoreline or coastline, rate and estimate the future position by End Point Rate equation (EPR). Input parameters Year be Simulate: Inform the year the EPR simulation will be run. Year of Oldest Line: Insert the year lof Oldest Line. Example: 1985. Baseline Left: Insert a baseline in left side of the line of shore/coastline. This baseline is a continuous parallel line and the two extremities need be a little more longer than the shoreline. This baseline can have more than one vertices point. Space between point / Error: This parameter select how will be the accuracy of result. A small number get better and more precise result, but the process turn very slow. Is recommended put 1/4 of the pixel size of the raster used to delimitated the shore/coastline. Example: A Landsat with 30m insert a 7.5 or 5. Year of Newest Line: Choose the year lof Newst Line. Example: 2019. Newest Line: Insert the newest shore/coastalline in shapefile format. Beach Angle: The Beach Angle parameter is a angle between 0 and 359 grades informing how be the angle of the graphical result. Baseline Right: Insert a baseline in Right side of the line of shore/coastline. This baseline is a continuous parallel line and the two extremities need be a little more longer than the shoreline. This baseline can have more than one vertices point. Oldest Line: Insert the more old shore/coastalline in shapefile format. Result Style Final: Set the Style of Result with .qml file. Result Style - Left: Set the Style of Result with .qml file. Result Style - Right: Set the Style of Result with .qml file. Leftside Result: This shapefile have a graphical result that top of prism shows the last position in future of shoreline. Rightside Result: This shapefile have a graphical result that top of prism shows the last position in future of shoreline. Points: This shapefile shows the space between points. This result is just to see if have some error in analysis. Newest Line: Shapefile with the distance between the position compare with baseline. Oldest Line: Shapefile with the distance between the position compare with baseline. Outputs Leftside Result: This shapefile have a graphical result that top of prism shows the last position in future of shoreline. Rightside Result: This shapefile have a graphical result that top of prism shows the last position in future of shoreline. Points: This shapefile shows the space between points. This result is just to see if have some error in analysis. Result: Shapefile with the distance between the position compare with baseline.
