Financial services are the lifeblood of an economy, enabling households and businesses to save, invest and protect themselves against risks. Yet in many emerging economics today, the majority of individuals and small businesses lack access to eve basic savings and credit products which hinders economic growth and perpetuates poverty. Digital technologies have the potential to resole this problem, being the catalyst to larger access to the neded financial instruments. This will unleash large gains in productivity and investment in the relerated emerging regions.
