Abstract

Această lucrare este consacrată domnului profesor Simion Băncilă, absolvent al instituţiei bălţene, promoţia 1963, prorector pentru studii (1987- 2010), savant şi pedagog de excepţie, care a contribuit substanţial la evoluţia învăţămîntului şi ştiinţelor fundamentale din Moldova (peste 100 titluri de publicaţii). Preocupările ştiinţifice ţin de fizica nucleului, fizica materialelor solide, proprietăţilor termice ale metalelor etc.
