The Manual Annotation tool is a software tool developed internally at ACQUIFER to assign tags and browse large multidimensional datasets generated by automated microscopy applications. It provides the following functionalities: selectively display and browse image subsets (e.g. well coordinates, channels etc or combinations thereof) using regular expressions browse and annotate single or multiple datasets at the same time define and assign single or multiple image categories (tags) to data subsets enhanced and simplified browsing and visualization via optional automatic centering and cropping, maximum projections, color maps (LUTs), basic measurement functionalities using reference points
