Abstract

İslam dünyasında kaza ve kader problemi üzerinde hicrî. I. asırdan beri yapılan tartışmalar günümüzde de devam etmektedir. Degrees of Destiny According to Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyya in His Book Shifau'l-AlilFrom I. Century (hijri) there were many discussions on the Predestination and destiny problem in the Islamic World. Discussions about predestination are mainly concerned human's will and acts. Besides, there are some hesitations as to whether predestination a principal of faith or not. In this paper we examine Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya's views about Predestination and destiny. We can say that İbn Qayyim al Jawziyya approaches to problem in a original way. He deals four degrees destiny problem from the point of Qur'anic verses. According to İbn Qayyim al Jawziyya, fourth degree of destiny is God's create all creation and He analyses acts of man in this title. Al-Jawziyya says that acts of man create by God but man actualizes acts by his free will. Because of that he responsible from his acts.https://www.marife.org/marife/article/view/519
