The following three parts of the COSMO documentation (downloaded from www.cosmo-model.org) are attached below: PART I Dynamics and Numerics (v5.5, August 2018) PART II Physical Parameterization (v4.2, September 2011) PART VI User's Guide (5.04, February 2016) Note that the documentation applies to the COSMO as well as COSMO-CLM (version 5.0), because as stated on the community webpage: "The COSMO-CLM is the climate mode of the COSMO model and the source codes of the individual model components are identical with the COSMO model sources for each main model version." As the documentation version differs from model version 5.0, we checked the release notes for any relevant changes of the model. Changes in PART I concern only Section 7 "The Runge-Kutta dynamical core" and checking the tech reports these seem to apply to version 5.0 as well. Changes concerning PART II seem be only minor and unneglectable (like small bug fixes). Changes for PART VI could not be ruled out, as the document does not state which sections were revised. But this is only a more user friendly summary of the whole model, so we dont expect any deviation. In case a reader finds one, we suggest going with the description of PART I and II.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
