The transformation of politics requires a widening of the limits of the Western-canon privileged man. Once settled this hypothesis, this article proposes politics as an opening to the Other-human. Positioned in and from the peripheries of Enrique Dussel, political philosophy presents alternatives to the ontologies of modern inheritance; a transformation based on the dependent nature of a humanity in need of care and on the repolitization of the four dimensions among which Boaventura de Sousa Santos locates politics as a collective political praxis: not only the citizen dimension, but also the productive, the global and the domestic one.
