The SHG movement has become a socio-economic movement only because of its unique features of inclusiveness in implementation of social schemes and designing development and industrial projects added with Government patronage. The women folk have gained a lot from these SHGs. The rural women in selective who were longing for economic liberalizations have successfully got it through SHGs the famous result bear of this strengthening of their social status.
